TDLP-January

Hello everyone,

I have been busy working on my journals. I've already had two projects for the documented life and am still working on my calendar. So I'm just doing a quick post to show you what I have accomplished. 

The page on the left was the first assignment. Working with the blank page and setting goals. The second week is about gesso. 

The small format in my calendar journal is working out very well.

tdlp The Documented Life 2015

Hello friends,

It's a new year and a start on a new creative venture. I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to get back into the groove. I have a lot of projects planned and one of them is my documented life project. I began with creating a calendar journal so I can track my progress. This is using a Strathmore Mixed Media book 5.5 X 8.5. I can use this for my day to day schedule plus all of my challenge ideas. I'm hoping this will help keep me on track. So here are the first few pages and then I'm going to start on this weeks challenge. If you would like to work along with me on this project here is the link. I hope you find the time for some art this week.

Calendar page - February

Well I'm finally getting around to doing my calendar page. I know I'm late but that's typical. Maybe I'll do better with March. Lots of shamrocks involved there. Lol hugz

November calendar pages

Hello everyone,

It is November already and tomorrow will be the second. I can't believe it's time to roll the clocks back already. Is getting dark so early, it is making my days seem short. The trees are beautiful but the leaves are falling and will soon be gone. I thought I would capture some of the color of the season. So here it is, the month of giving thanks. I know I am so blessed and give thanks daily for all my blessings.

October Calendar Pages

Hello everyone,

October is here, fall is in the air and it's time for another calendar page. I wasn't sure where I was headed with this one but I think it turned out alright. No real plan I just sat down to play.

September Calendar Pages

Hello everyone,

Seems as though I have had a very busy month already. I spent Labor Day weekend in St. Louis with my family. It was a very hot weekend but we had a good time together. The following weekend was the MDA crop. Sherrie and her crew put on a fabulous crop and raised about $19,000 for MDA campers.

I started this calendar page at the crop this last weekend. This is also for the CC101 challenge on Facebook. This is a closed group that formed after taking Creative Chemistry 101 with Tim Holtz. If you have the opportunity, take his class, it is wonderful. Once you have taken his class come join us on Facebook. There is an opportunity right now to get a two dollar discount on the 101 class. He is offering Creative Chemistry 102 in October. The prerequisite for this course is Creative Chemistry 101. You can check out the details here. So here are some photos of my process.

August Calendar Pages

Hello everyone,

Well the first of the month is coming. Today I pushed the envelope and  prepared August calendar pages. August is a birthday month for my family and I always start thinking about harvest at this time. The grapes are ripening and readying for the presses. I hope you enjoy my take on August. 

July Calendar Pages

Wow, another's month has flown by. Here it is July already and another holiday  for celebration is about to happen. I'm looking forward to time spent with family and friends.

June Calendar

I was not that happy with my first attempt  at the June's calendar pages. I was home today and had a bit of time to play some more. I am still not totally happy with the end product, but I am learning what I like. Well, July is just around the corner. I must move on. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi bloggers,
May is just around the corner so time for my May calendar pages. I started out with Dylusions sprays and stencils. I added in a bit of paint stamping rub ons and stickers. May is a travel month for me so there's some fun at the end of the month. Yup you guessed it headed to Disney and San Diego with my girls. So without further ado here are my pages.
