Hello friends,
One of my all-time favorite stamp companys is Stampers Anonymous. Among their collections are Tim Holtz's goodies. Today I finally finished Christmas cards and mailed them out so I thought I'd show you a few featuring some of these stamps. I used the Christmas blueprints collection. I hope you enjoy them. They were fun to make. I stamped the images on watercolor paper.
I colored the images using the Distress Pens and a watercolor brush. I tore the edge and sponged on distress ink. I used white pigment ink and a snowflake stamp on the background of the Judikins card base.
The toy soldier background is done with the Holly stamp using Pumice Stone ink on a grey/blue Judikins card. I die-cut and layered the Harlequin strip cut from some of Tim's papers.
Tim also offers great embellishments. I love the Tinsel. It comes in several colors. as does the glitter.
If you love Tim and all the Tinsel and such you may want to join the challenge over at Studio L3.
The lovely and generous Joy and her family at Inspiration Emporium sponsor all our odd-numbered challenges and you may be a winner.
And one last picture of a wreath I made using the Scan NCut. I love how I can cut so many snowflakes at once. Hope Santa is good to you.
Hope you are enjoying the season with friends and family. ttfn

lovely cards!
Oh Peg, I love all the blueprint stamping!! Just love them. I love the way you purposefully tore some of the cardstock, I just love that look. Overall, AWESOME!!!! hugs, patty
I love this stamp collecting too! ! The Blue Distress makes me feel the chill...
Hi Peg. I am in love with your tags! Those blueprint stamps that you used are some of my favorite of Tim's Christmas blueprints. Stamping them on watercolor paper and then colorizing them really gives them a nice vintage quality. I love the added red tinsel twine to your soldier. So cute! And that gorgeous snowflake wreath...oh my word! I love that, too! Thanks so much for joining us at CC3C. <3 Candy
I adore these cards, Peg. You're an ace at coloring the blueprints here. I have this stamp set as well and sadly have not used it yet. I am NOW inspired! The added touch of tinsel is perfect! Thanks for playing along with us in the CC3 Challenge.
Well done on making all these cards and getting them out on time. I am not making this year as our post office was on strike and they are still in a bit of a mess...not taking any chances. I am however busy in the kitchen, making all my jams and preserves for the year!
Lovely cards, Peg. I like that tall, slim format which suits your stamp perfectly!
Great cards! LOVE the sparkly tinsel! Thanks so much for playing along with us on the Woodlands and Tinsel Twine challenge at CC3Challenge!!!
These are fabulous, Peg! What a neat way to use the tinsel as an accent. Thanks for sharing with us at CC3C!
