Hello everyone.
Today I am playing with my Scan n Cut from Brother. I decided I wanted to try cutting stencils. I tried first with some donated wax stencil paper. That wasn't a real success but I'm learning. The problem with wax paper is it doesn't want to stick to the carrier sheet. I was able to scan some wonderful images from my book that was given to me from a friend. These are cutting nicely from card stock.

Oh yes and here's a little lap doodling I was doing with the elegant writer pen while listening to podcasts.
Well I'm off to visit a few other desks. If you don't know what I'm talking about Wednesday is the day that everybody goes to visit at the
Stamping Ground with Julia. Stop by and check out what everybody's doing. TTFN

It looks like you're getting it! The last one turned out beautifully. I like your journal - like the idea of a lap journal.
have a great week

You lucky girl to have a Scan ' cut machine. Your cutting looks awesome!
I have an old Robocraft cutter that I never use because I don't know how it works really. I've never got to grips with it and that is a shame and a waste of money.
Thanks for your visit,
Happy WOYWW (although it is Thursday now)

Hi Peg, well done cutting your own. I use OHP transparency film, I got it from Staples. Cuts great wipeable stencils. Not very thick, but does the job. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #20 xxx
I didn't spot you on the list, Peg! I tried cutting stencils from mylar, but I think it's a bit hard on the blade. Cardstock is best! Great lap sketching! I can see your tippy toes! Thanks for visiting earlier!
Lucky you! You're going to have fun with that Peg. It looks as if you're relaxing on your recliner. Barbxx
