WOYWW 243

Morning everyone,
Well it's Wednesday (somewhere) and after my whirlwind trip to California I have quite a mess and not just on my desk. I am not sure where it is all going to go.
New stencils, paints. projects, everything is out. I just finish some projects with the new Art Anthology paint you can check that out in my previous post if you are interested. In addition to showing my desk on Wednesday it's usually a cleanup day for me. I bought a new air compressor to use with my Copic markers and I need to assemble that. You would think I would have this done. Here goes.
Yippee one project up and running. Isn't that compressor a thing of beauty? I have toyed with the idea of getting one for years.

So I did a bit of tidy up. Now I'm ready to play. Here are some of the projects that we did in the alcohol ink classes with Copic. I did painting with ink and airbrushing and loved both classes.

Here's my space tidied and ready to use again.

I tend to keep working and just pushing things back on my desk. That only works for so long.  I only stay clean long enough to drag out more stuff. I had a play today with more paint and did a video to show you what my play produced. I will say it was an exciting day. I dropped my favorite heat tool in my wash water and then the pan sprung a leak. ack! Here are some stills. I know this is getting lengthy so this is a peek of what I put in the video.
Well I must get this posted and go visit the other deskers. If you're not familiar with this 'what's on my work desk Wednesday', check out the Stamping Ground at Julia Dunnit's blog. Hugs gentle crafters. I hope you are surviving this polar vortex again.

Lucky you. I've seen those compressors do fabulous things with Copics, even if I have never owned a single one. I DO have an air compressor, though.

You have some lovely art, including the colorful tags. Of course, I was drawn to that peacock and was hoping to see it all. Happy WOYWW from #1.

Those tags look interesting. I'm guessing they have something to do with TH?

The polar vortex thing is getting tiresome, isn't it? Perfect weather for making something, though!

Happy WOYWW to you!

I am not a person of patience especially when it comes to wanting new toys to play with. Good for you for getting what you want, I am sure you will love every second you use it too. Beautiful creations you have on your desk and such a clean desk, you should be proud. Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment.

I'm intrigued! What on earth do you do with a compressor and Copics (bear in mind I don't stamp or colour at all!!)? Plese show us something you make with this technique next week!

Wonderful projects Peg and a great new toy too. Perhaps you can use it to blow the detritus of one project clean off your desk to make to ready for another, lol!

That compressor looks a scary piece of equipment, and dropping your heat tool into waster - not a good idea. I guess you probably need to replace that one. Sounds as though you had a great time on your trip and came back buzzing with new ideas. Thanks for your visit this week. Our birds are eating me out of house and home, mainly sunflower hearts and fat blocks. Have a good week crafting and bird watching. xx Maggie #2
