I had a wonderful ego boost from my colleagues at work. I was given the President's Distinguished Service Award which is the eagle trophy in the picture. The Social Science/Career Option faculty made the nomination and sent glowing letters of support. It is great to work with such supportive people. The new support staff has been hired and will be starting next week. I will stick around and help with her training for a bit. After that I will go back to semi-retired status. Thanks everyone for your kind words. I am humbled.
