November Recap

Hello everyone,
It has been a very busy month. To started with, some friends and I joining the #nanojoumo #15minsnanojoumo art journaling challenge. This is journaling at least 15 minutes each day all month. We made it harder by video taping our processes. There is a play list I created on You Tube if you are interested. Just follow the link. Here are some of the photos.

I also attended the One of a Kind Stamp and Scrap show in Madison. There was a gem and mineral show, bead show and women's conference at the same time. I ran into Wendy Vecchi  demoing at the Stampers Anonymous Booth.
From there I headed to DeKalb to see my granddaughter's cheer competition.
Followed by some needed family time.
Now we ready for a big snow storm. I am spending a few days with my son while he has knee surgery. I hope to be back in the craft room soon.
The holidays are fast approaching. And so is the snow.

the photo above is from my DeKalb drive. Icy roads but the sun was shinning and made the ice-cycles shimmer.I am looking forward to December and all the crafty goodness that my freinds will be sharing. Be sure to tell me when you post. I want eye candy. Have a wonderful day until I see you again my friends. p

Sending you love

Happy Valentines Day bloggers. I spent time yesterday with my grandchildren cooking, cleaning and beading. I must be thinking ahead to spring with the bead colors I am picking. The dagger bracelet is a spring green with pearls. The jasper necklace has soft pink accents. I didn't send out many valentines this year to friends because I felt the cards I made might make one of our veterans feel appreciated. A friend of mine had asked for cards for our service members and I knew you would all understand. Please accept the love and photo of cards above as my valentine to you. I owe you all chocolate.

I am glad we didn't get any more snow. The frost yesterday morning was beautiful. Truely a day the Lord had made. The winter wonderland took my breath away. It was one of those mornings when you want to take a long walk in the woods and hear the snow crunch under your foot. I am still waiting for spring, but the beauty almost makes up for the cold...almost.

Ireland

We went to Leap Year today. It was a cute movie, but the scenery was wonderful. I loved seeing the places we visited on the big screen even if they had been photo shopped. Don't my traveling buddies look great?

Fall Fun

As you can see, Cadence is no stranger to charm. I think he may have stolen a few hearts already. Tenor is still a bit shy. He is working up the courage to talk to the animals at the petting zoo at Knight's Pumpkin Farm. We had fun playing in the corn maze and going for a hay rack ride.

The traveling chicks

This spring Diane mentioned she had never been to the House on the Rock http://www.thehouseontherock.com/

As all good friends do, we decided we shoud go so she could see it first hand for herself. The craft stores in the area had nothing to do with our decision. tee hee So, here we are visiting Wisconsin. Looks like we had a good time, huh?

Fright Night

It really isn't such a bad night...bit windy, but not many children are out in our neighborhood.
