Each week Tailored Expressions brings two types of challenges that you can use separately or together to inspire your creativity. This week I decided to join the challenge plus challenge myself by using Pan Pastels. I ended up completing three cards for this challenge. I have a brief video here showing some of my creative process.
The deer card is using papers from The Paper Cut. The gray is the silver shimmer. I used the pan pastel through Tim Holtz's woodgrain and speckled stencils. Behind the deer is white card stock with pan pastel shading. Weathered wood distress ink is used to shade the exterior of the blue circle.

The birch tree was layered on a pan pastel colored background and then partially diecut again. This allowed me to layer it over the silver shimmer paper and add dimension.
