Painting with Paper

Old blog post about Spectra Tissue paper.
Spectra on You Tube.
Where do I find it? Pacon.com

Hi Everyone, I was watching Heather do her magic with tissue paper and remembered I had a few tissue tricks to share too. Above is the link to a watercolor card done with Spectra tissue paper. Another technique I love is tissue and acetate.   Here is a demo From Tim Holtz and Ranger.
I made a few samples for you to see.
Stamp on acetate

Add alcohol ink

apply Glossy Accents

apply crumpled tissue paper to back

Frame and mount on card

Another fun tip is to use paper behind the stamped acetate, ant run the whole thing through the Xyron.
Butterfly on acetate then run through Xyron
Once your paper is applied to the back, run the acetate upside down through the Zyron or apply Red Line tape to the front, sprinkle on glitter and rub it in before applying color.
Elizabeth Craft glitter applied to top side

Color butterfly with Copic
Use an up and down motion with your Copic pen so you don't damage them or rub off glitter.
So there you have it. Have fun. ttfn
