The background is using the spring set of distress ink pads over embossed images. Once the ink is applied, iron it dry and remove the embossing powder so you can stamp on the surface.

the tags at the bottom are created using shrink plastic.
It helps to make a shrink plastic ruler so you know how big the piece will be after shrinking. Not all plastic shrinks at the same rate. Anyway, I find it helpful when deciding what products to use. If you have more than one kind, label the back of the ruler so you don't get them mixed up.
