Working on my Mojo

Hi Bloggers,
I was busy trying out the new products from Hero, Sizzix, Ranger and Tim Holtz today. I think there will be some things I need to learn using all of these products, but I have to say it was a joy to have such nifty stuff to create with. Here are some examples of what I was working on.

The first two are using the new Hero Arts stamp and embossing folders. I used Distress Inks to stamp with and to color the cardstock. I was not happy with the results on the stamp, but the shading worked well. I also used the Ranger mists to give it that shimmer.

Now the last cards are using Tim's holiday craft papers. I absolutely LOVE these. The cards are made with the papers from the cover of the paper pad. I haven't even used the good stuff yet. As you can see, the craft papers take the ink beautifully. I used the new stains from Ranger and Tim before doing the shading with Distress Ink. The die cuts are from the Sizzix line.

I also found some time to work on some funky jewelry. It is a work in progress, so I will hold that back until I am further along. I did try some colorations on the blanks I created last week and am learning a lot.
