WOYWW 232 -Alcohol Inks

Well today I've added a new page to my blog. I seem to be interested in alcohol ink painting. I just signed up for a couple of classes in January and I've got June Rollin's new book on dreamscaping.  I'm on the search for some different surfaces to work on. I'd like to get some tiles, clay paper, acetate and Yupo paper. Today samples are just on some coated stock. I can see potential but want a better surface to work the ink on.

So these are just some of my first attempts. Don't judge them to harshly. I'm just beginning this journey. Be sure and stop by Julia's blog and check out the other deskers today. Want to know more about what I'm talking about? You can find it here
Happy Wednesday everyone.

Hello Miss Peg, I too am dying to make and use some alcohol ink. I think you've done a fabulous job, both pieces are gorgeous, really, I have a box of small antique domino's waiting to be inked, have to make my own, I will be trying that this weekend, I have to come back and see what else you make, love experimenting especially with inks..
Thanks for visiting my nest, have a wonderful week..

My favourite is to dribble the inks onto acetate and blow them about through a straw. It is great fun.
