SUMMER card camp 2

Hello everybody,
Week one of summer card camp 2 is already done. My Sunday will be filled with playing in the studio. This first card is a selection from day five. I chose the color combo from the additional selections for the week. If you are in class you  will know that it's the third one in the group. The colors include orange, magenta, purple and turquoise along with white. So here's the card I did.  This window card is patterned after a card created  by Kristina Werner. I embossed some packaging for the circle window. Next time I think I will use a little thinner material. It was a bit thick for cutting with the thin dies.

I just got a shipment from Simon Says Stamp and really wanted to use some of my new supplies. They carry an amazing collection of stamps and dies.

These are K and Company papers I have had for some time. You can use just about anything as long as you follow the color rules in class.
The packaging really did emboss nicely. Too bad it didn't cut better. I an loving using colors that I normally would not put together. I have so much paper in packs that I thought I would never use, but now I think I will be brave and try combinations that feel abnormal to me when starting a project. Thanks for stopping by. I always love your comments.
