STAMPtember

If you haven't been following Simon Says Stamps or Tim Holts' blogs, you may want to check them out this month. Right now there is an inspiring blog hop going on with fantastic give aways this month.

There are many samples of art and journals to inspire you. As one of my favorite ways to share book pages, I thought I would show you some of my 6X6 recipe pages. I love to make these and swap pages with friends. It isn't hard to do. You can make four of the pages from one standard 12X12 papers, eight from a two page spread.

I work in the 6X6 format because these books are readily available and inexpensive. They also make great gifts. The young person off to college, the newly weds, and the cooks on your gift list will love getting such a special gift.
So here are some quick and easy sample pages.
Remember these are recipes, so make sure the reader can follow your instructions.

There won't be much space on the page for embellishments when you have a complex recipe.

I usually print on a paper to mount the recipe to the page.

I hope you will be inspired and create something special.
