Seasonal Distress

Here is a quick peek at a project I did for a seasonal distress ink challenge. I hope you enjoy it.
The background is using the spring set of distress ink pads over embossed images. Once the ink is applied, iron it dry and remove the embossing powder so you can stamp on the surface.
this is a detail of the image after ironing.
the tags at the bottom are created using shrink plastic.
It helps to make a shrink plastic ruler so you know how big the piece will be after shrinking. Not all plastic shrinks at the same rate. Anyway, I find it helpful when deciding what products to use. If you have more than one kind, label the back of the ruler so you don't get them mixed up. Guess how I figured this out. lol So, Simon Says Stamps  has a tag challenge this week, and you might like to give this a try.

A stunning tag! Love the way you've done the background and explained how you achieved it. Great idea with the shrink plastic ruler too!
