Summer Vacation

Yesterday was the last school day for my grand babies in St Louis. They have really been looking forward to water park time, baseball and vacation. This weeks' challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show Is all about Summer. I think this card is cheery enough for a note to my little sweeties.

You can spritz the background or not depending on the look you are going for. Because the ink is dye based, it will react. The main image is and some of the small ones are from A Stamp in the Hand. Then I used some small stick stamps from Stamps by Judith. The Saying is from Imaginations. The flowers are from Prima. They have been dipped in UTEE.

The stamps are colored using Tombow markers and  Adirondack Dye Ink.

As you can see you get a different image depending on the amount of moisture in the ink and on the rubber.

The image below looks more like watercolor because of a spritz of water before stamping.

Happy Summer Vacation!
